but I said that it doesn’t work like that. Dostoyevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment” states this theory, then psychological reasearch done in the 20th century proved it. if you haven’t read it, it’s basically about a “cold-blooded, calculated” murder. and the young man, former student who kills also despises the woman, his victim. and yet he can’t escape the psychological mechanisms following murder.
